Simple stomach- exercise
This is just a simple exercise that I faithfully perform everyday. Every morning when I wake up I lie down and raise my legs up and down so that it will form a 90 degrees angle. I do this for 20 counts. Counting is done when my legs assume its original position, so when my legs have completed upward and downward motion it is considered as one count. At night before going to bed I perform this exercise again. This is very effective because at 30 yrs. of age believe it or not my stomach muscles is still firm. Whenever I perform this exercise I still felt that my lower abdomen tightens because when I raise my legs I exerted the strength from my abdomen and not from my legs. You can try this and send me your comments

Pimples & Blackheads
One of my readers sent me this Question:
wen i was gr.6 i dont have pimples at allbut when blackheads starts appearing on my forehead cheeksi use a stractor to take them awaybut as time goes by my smooth face turns to rough and pimples starts to appear what will i do??
email from:
chiie
This is my Answer:
When we are younger we have naturally smooth skin but as we grow older our skin grows with us. Puberty stage can change our skin that is because our body releases hormones that makes us grow and this is the main cause of pimple outbreaks. Sad to say we can't do much about it because that is the normal reaction of our body. What I can only advise you is to maintain a proper skin care http://www.freewebs.com/philippinesbeautyshop I have listed on this site the steps to proper skin care. If your pimple is red and has pus in it you have to refrain from touching it or else you can make it worse.
Follow this simple steps:
1. You can use a pimple clearing ointment that has salycilic acid on it so It can dry up.
2. For your blackheads and whiteheads you can use pore strip it's an adhesive that can remove impurities. You can also use either face mask or facial scrub but it is not recommended if you have many pimples.
Remember our skin differ from each other and you must take note of the reaction of your skin when using skin products. Continue using products that suits you best. If all of this does not work out for you, it's best to consult a dermatologist.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
There is really no standard form of beauty. It remains solely on the eyes of the beholder. In Asian countries especially in the Philippines having light and fair skin is considered beautiful as well as having a pointed nose, so people with foreign ancestry known as mestiza is generally perceived as beautiful. However, in western countries having tan skin tone and having features of an ordinary Asian girl is considered beautiful. Noting these observations people considered uniqueness and extraordinary in their community as special and beautiful.
In Asian countries having black hair and tanned skin is considered ordinary and having a different hair and eye color is considered special and beautiful. Beauty really is only within the conditioning of your mind but let’s not forget having clear skin and shiny hair is still considered lovely no matter where you live. So whenever you feel ugly look at yourself in the mirror and accept your image. Think of the things that you can change and accept your uniqueness and remember you are a beauty to people in some parts of the world.

Ugly Duckling
I am always touched with the story of the ugly duckling let’s just say that I can relate to it. You see as a young child I don’t consider myself beautiful but just an ordinary looking girl that blends into the crowd. I’m not even popular and nobody notices me. During that stage in my life I don’t remember being told beautiful by someone. Growing up I am always skinny and I like playing outdoors so my skin was dark and dull. I have naturally thick wavy hair that always frizzy because I don’t use a conditioner. My eyebrows are naturally thick and out of shape.
In High school I befriended someone that showed me how to improve my appearance. Actually we became best friends until now. She taught me how to use beauty creams, facial cleanser, toner, whitening soaps and lotions. As my appearance and self esteem progress my circle of friends also multiplies. It was a school exclusively for girls so I don’t have male friends yet.
It was in College that I began to realize that I am beautiful. My classmates elected me as a muse in our class. I was the one who represented them in our school’s annual beauty pageant. I even won 2nd runner up. My popularity grows so does my dates. I notice that guys would tell me that I’m pretty and whenever I pass by the corridors they would call my name. I began to realize that it’s really important to take care of your self and bring out your best features. It’s best to learn how to use cosmetics to accentuate your assets and hide your flaws. It’s also necessary to dress your self well and take good care of your skin and hair.
When I finished college I got a job right a way although my sibling told me that I only got hired because of my appearance, I know in my heart that I also have the necessary knowledge. I also believe that it’s partly true, let’s face it people love aesthetics. We love beautiful things and want to be surrounded with it. In our country it’s difficult to find a job, the unemployment rate is high and there are few earning opportunities. In one job position there could be twenty to fifty applicants. Out of twenty only five people could pass the rigid examination and on the interview the applicant with pleasing personality is preferred.
Years passed by smoothly for me and there came a time when I was invited in our elementary reunion. Once there nobody recognizes me right a way. I have long straight shiny hair, expressive eyes, beautiful glowing skin and a slim body. They could not believe that I was their classmate so many years ago. The guys that ignored me back then where interested in me now. Somebody even bring our elementary year book and stared at me noticing the difference he told me that I have really blossomed into a beautiful lady.
